"Taste of Tradition Cooking Competition” is a community-based cooking event that celebrates the rich heritage of traditional South Indian vegetarian cuisine, with special focus on authentic North Karnataka dishes. The competition aims to promote healthy cooking practices and revive traditional recipes passed down through generations. The event is open exclusively to female participants, and there is no age restriction — women of all age groups are welcome to participate and showcase their cooking skills.

Cooking Competition Rules
Healthy Cooking — promoting healthy cooking, focus on traditional South Indian vegetarian dishes, especially from North Karnataka. To promote north Karnataka authentic dishes and to promote women entrepreneur’s in the food industry.
Each participant must register in advance. The entry fee is ₹250 per person. Registration will be confirmed only after payment. The Registration fee is non-refundable.
Registration opens on : 01/11/2025 and closes on : 30/11/2025.
- First Round: Dish should be prepared at home and brought to the venue for judgment.
- Second & Final Round: Participants selected from 1st round should cook live at the venue in next rounds.
- Venue & Date: Venue and Date will be informed to the registered participants later.
Live cooking duration – 45 minutes.
Participants must bring their own ingredients and utensils for cooking. Pre-cooked or ready-made items are not allowed (except salt, oil, spices). Dish and Recipe details must be provided before the start of the competition.

- Presentation & Creativity – 25%
- Authenticity to Theme – 20%
- Hygiene & Cleanliness – 15%
- Judges decision is final.
- 1st Prize – ₹25,000
- 2nd Prize – ₹15,000
- 3rd Prize – ₹10,000
